I crave intimacy but I get confused and uncomfortable when I’m shown even the slightest bit of attention or affection.
But you ain’t never hear Drake in his whole career talking about racism. You get mad at Miley for her appropriation of Black American culture but Its crickets when it comes to Drake? At least Miley Cyrus did address the Trayvon Martin situation and sent condolences to his family. At least Kanye,…
This is probably the most ignorant post in the whole world - it seems like whenever someone gets to the top, anything they do is wrong. Drake never fits into the black community because he’s constantly called “lightskin” or because he’s half Jewish is apparently “not even black.” It seems like people love to categorize Drake whenever convenient.
”I mean, I’m so light that people are like “you’re white.” That’s what I get more than anything, people saying “you’re white, you’re not black.” But I mean those are whatever, those are just silly jokes. That’s like “the light-skinned complex.” That’s a very American thing as well, light skin and dark skin, like I don’t even notice that. Girls will be like “oh I’ve seen you talk to dark-skinned girls, that’s so good.” And I’m like “why? I talk to any girl!” I talk to anybody, you know?”
Have you ever thought for two seconds that maybe Drake doesn’t post this kind of shit because he hates controversy? I’m not even kidding, this nigga avoids controversy like fucking crazy. He literally stopped doing magazine interviews because one magazine twisted his word and released an essay apology even though magazines lie all the time.
If he started commenting on Ferguson all you haters who have nothing better to do than to pick at what Drake publicly supports and doesn’t support, would be saying shit like “He’s not even black he doesn’t understand what oppression and true racism is.”
People have their own fucking reasons for not PUBLICLY stating everything they do or do not support and just because an artist isn’t publicly outspoken about their views does not make them an awful person so instead of posting about why Drake doesn’t tweet about Ferguson and why Beyonce only mentions racism in some of her music, how about you try and make a change instead of expecting a celebrity too.
And honestly, I think that Drake doesn’t want the all the fucking negative attention that comes from expressing yourself on very sensitive situations, because it will come. If Kanye is any indication, it always comes.
Games with English: insert the word “only” anywhere into the above sentence and consider how the placement changes meaning.
I’d date the shit out of you. Cuddling, movie nights, food, orgasms, hand holding. let me love you.
if you stare at me in public my self esteem will drop 100%
